Europe’s markets saw gains on Thursday. The FTSE Eurofirst 300 was up 1 percent to 1,565.18. New record highs in many Asia-Pacific equities markets

Equities markets in the Asia-Pacific region were higher on Thursday, with new records reached on a number of indices.
